Overall, I was very pleased with the services and quality of work that Residential Construction Services completed. I also appreciated their flexibility with my timeline because I had decided to delay the project several times due to not wanting my whole house torn apart during the holidays. The project took 9 days to tile my living room, kitchen, entry way, office, and backsplash in the kitchen/fireplace. Kirk was here everyday, which was a good feeling cause I know several companies that just sub-contract everything out, but not these gentlemen. If you are in need of someone to install your tile flooring/backsplash I would recommend Residential Construction Services to get the job done!

I worked with Residential Construction Services to remodel my grandmother's home in Galveston, TX. Prior to the start of the project, Kirk provided detailed estimates by line item. This allowed the project to stay on budget with minimal overages.
In regard to the work, they did an AMAZING job renovating the home. Their craftsmanship was exceptional in every area and the home looks amazing. I have plans for future updates to this property and others and I will definitely be using Residential Construction Services due to their quality work and incredible attention to detail.

Kirk of RCS was very professional, communicative, timely, helpful and did an overall great job with my small kitchen upgrade project. He helped me find the right materials and was able to connect with the original cabinet company for the project. I am most happy with the updated trash can pull with recycling bin. I will definitely reach out to Kirk for future projects

I used Residential Construction Services to add an electric powered gate to my back fence for my AirBnB. They quoted me a fair price and they stuck to the timeline provided. The quality of the work was excellent and the gate is perfect! I'll definitely be reaching out to them when I need a back deck & patio installed.

I am so impressed by the quality of work that was done. The guys are very experienced and professional, yet very personable and friendly. We had the kitchen completely remodeled to our specifications and it looks like it just came out of a magazine, and the hardwood floors look amazing! Kirk has become part of our family, and I will hire him again to remodel the master bathroom. I highly recommend RCS for any home improvement projects!

I had Residential Construction Services help me with a major renovation project including the kitchen, master bath, guest bath, fireplace veneer update and flooring throughout the home. Besides being perfectionists about their work, the best thing about the guys is that they showed up when they said they would and did the work we agreed upon to my satisfaction. They were flexible enough to work with me on a few last minute changes without grumbling too much. Their input resulted in a few changes that really contributed to the overall appeal of the baths, fireplace and kitchen. I’m very satisfied with the work they did, the price and the time frame.

After our home was flooded by Hurricane Harvey, we searched for a contractor that would repair our home not only for a fair price but one that prided itself in its workmanship and honesty. We couldn't be happier with RCS. They remodeled our house from bottom to top (literally). They were personable, extremely thorough and treated us and our home like family. We even asked them to go beyond a regular repair and remodel our upstairs bathrooms (which never flooded). They did an outstanding job and the price was more than fair. They provided us with quotes and they didn't waiver on their pricing. They helped us with choosing our materials and gave us ideas on colors schemes and provided us with other remodeling ideas.
If you ever get the chance to meet these guys, you won't be disappointed!!! They are honest and responsive and their work speaks for itself. We were overjoyed with the results of our home and everyone that came by to see the renovations said it’s gorgeous. I totally agree, it's beautiful and I can't believe I get to live here!!! Honestly, we count ourselves very fortunate to have found such a sound, authentic business that restored our home and made us feel like we should have been on one of those fixer-upper shows!

I contacted Home Advisor for referral, They referred 3 companies, only RCS contacted me. My project was was to remove and replace the cultured walls and floor. And to reuse the glass door and enclosure . Kirk explained what they would to, how long it would take - and that is what they did. I had other companies quote for me but none would reuse the glass door and enclosure which I had purchased and installed a few years before. The reuse of the glass saved me a lot of money.
The job was done on schedule and looks even better than I thought it would.

I was very pleased to hire Kirk and his team for some painting, tile and ceiling repair work I needed completed on a previous rental property. From start to finish he kept the communication line open and made sure I knew exactly what was going on.
Because I live out of state I had a lot of concerns on ensuring quality work when beginning my hunt for contractors. It seems really hard to find an honest contractor these days. Or even one that doesn't take shortcuts in their work. Fortunately for me these guys were honest, upfront, and reasonable. I was very happy to hit this home run and would definitely use them again for future work. The door, walls, ceiling, and tile all look fantastic.

I live in downtown Houston(condo), which of course means making sure all of the HOA rules are followed. (trash, noise, parking, etc.) The team has no issues dealing with them at all. Wanted specific things done, which were rather unusual for smaller spaces (two-tone walls, crown molding, chair rail, marble flooring, etc.) The team had no issues at all. Had a very difficult job to place sheetrock on a bare concrete wall with a two inch offset. The team worked extremely hard, and ultimately had no issues at all. They were very open to suggestions, and worked to insure I was pleased with the work. The most important part is that Kirk suffers from "perfection syndrome", because they will be more picky about their work than you will. I am very happy, and the proof is in the pudding, for I have already asked them back to do additional renovations.

Great guys. Very happy with the remodel work they did for us. Included some major/structural and water damage repairs, new siding, interior paint, floor refinishing and many miscellaneous details. Easy to work with, great quality work, and very nice results.

After Hurricane Ike hit my Tiki Island home and surrounding coastal areas in 2008. I had my house repaired by company that was not reputable. The floors were installed incorrectly. One year later my beautiful dark wood floors buckled, I was devastated to say the least! I couldn’t believe I had to do them all over again.
Later I found Kirk, who came in nice and calm. He walked me thru the best flooring for my needs. Every concern was addressed, and all questions were answered. He is very thorough and patient.
Thank you, thank you, and when I’m ready to redo the upstairs bedrooms, you will be the first person I will call and rely on to make it all come true.
